Derbici (derbiccae, in ancient Greek: derbikkai) was an apparently Scythian people, settled in the region of Margiana, on the left bank of the river Oxus, between this river and the coast of the sea Caspian. Ctesias of Cnido names them derbis and derbisis (in Latin: derbii or derbissi).
Strabo said that they worshiped the land, never killed women and killed those in their 70s, and their closest relative could eat their meat; yes they killed the old women but buried them. If someone died before age 70 was buried but not eaten meat. Reyes derbicios
