Jean-Marc Zelwer

Jean-Marc Zelwer (France), is a composer and musical duck who brings music with his musical theater (art form) "La Kumpania Zelwer", mostly in a theatrical package. The group experiments with commedia dell'arte, volksmusical, spooky electronics and critical kitsch, and is usually qualified as a virtuoso in the media.

In the 1990s, under the direction of multi-instrumentalist Jean-Marc Zelwer, this group has been a patron of a concert event in France and Belgium that balances between music and theater, which imaginatively transforms the world of gypsies, tractors, scholars and musicians calls. Zelwer plays instruments from all corners of the world: harmonics, harp, Indian santours, flute, accordion, clarinet and Swedish winch. His group colleague, singer Francesca Lattuada sings in Hebrew, Italian, Russian, Corsican and Yiddish. The violinist, cellist and tube player are equally well-liked with a flat-screen, a washing board, a double-bass bottle as a human organ.

Jean-Marc Zelwer was fascinated by childhood by the oriental world and her music traditions. He also finds his musical inspiration in Jewish wedding parties, fairgrounds, 30's jazz clubs and the cinema at the time of expressionism. Zelwer's music also paves the way for the oriental world of the knife, belly dancer, street musician and wild gypsy party. Discography
