General Jorge Luis Guerrero Almaguer is a Cuban military officer, Head of the Board of Directors of the Ministry of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Cuba since 1999. During his youth he carried out clandestine actions and at the triumph of the Revolution he joined the Association of Young Rebels Subsequently, he joined the Revolutionary National Militias in 1960. He was appointed 1. Substitute for the Secretariat of the Minister of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Cuba. He was part of the Cuban contingent in the South African Frontier War and the Angolan Civil War. He is currently a deputy to the National Assembly of People's Power in the VII Legislature.
