Lower bladder artery

The lower bladder artery is an artery originating from the anterior trunk of the internal iliac artery. Some authors consider that this artery is only present in males so that it is homologous to the vaginal artery in the woman. In contrast, other authors consider that it is present in both sexes, so that in the case of the woman the lower bladder artery is a small branch of the vaginal artery. Remaining Distribution

It is distributed to the urinary bladder, prostate, seminal vesicles and lower part of the ureter.
