Patrik-Ian Polk


Patrik-Ian Polk (born July 29, 1973 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi) is an African-American who directs, produces, writes scripts, sings, and stars in his films on gay lifestyles. p>

Polk directed his first film in 1999, called Punks, an independent production. Punks premiered worldwide in January 2000 at the Sundance Film Festival. The film charmed audiences, and received many awards at festivals around the world, being released in commercial halls in November 2001.

He is the creator of the television series Noah's Arc, which has been broadcast on LOGO TV since 2005.
