Considered one of the first modern editors, Pedro Pacini's books are characterized by the richness and precision of the illustrations and the use of the almost universal vernacular. Among the most significant works published by him are Lettera delle isole nuovamente ritrovate from the Florentine navigator Américo Vespucio and I Trionfi de Petrarca.

He was also among the first to use the typography brand as the editorial logo of a dolphin crowned by a crow.
