Roque Monllor Boronat (Alcoy (Alicante) 1910 - 1994) was municipal architect of Alcoy from the year 1941 until 1973 and artistic Advisor of the Association of San Jorge. He owes the project and the direction of the reconstruction of the Santa Maria archpriest church after the civil war. It also suggests that it is Ramón Castañer Segura who painted the murals of the new church, part of the decoration of the church of San Jorge, the construction of the Preventory, the reform of the Casal de San Jorge, the Residence Painter Room, the Market of San Roque or the Industrial Estate "Cotes Baixes" among others in the city of Alcoy. He was an adviser of the Savings Bank. He was a great defender of the Valencian language and culture. Notes Bibliography
