Álvaro Rodrigo Aguilar Aguilar (1958) is a guitarist and singer from Guatemala, member of the band Alux Nahual. Biography

Since his youth he showed interest in the execution of the guitar and singing. His artistic skills allowed him to participate in cultural activities at the German school, where he studied from his primary school until his graduation. He started his artistic career in several restaurants and bars, an activity he shared with his brother Plubio. At that time he formed a musical group that after a few months and the integration of other musicians became Alux Nahual.

He wrote most of the band's songs and is their lead vocalist. Some successful themes of his authorship are The Fable of the Cricket and the Sea, Toca Viejo, Hombres de Maiz, Ceasefire, Private Party and Returns. It has four independent recordings, including a disc with ecological sounds recorded in the Tikal National Park. Currently, he works on his personal art projects in the municipality of Guatemala.
