Luis del Carmen Curiel


General Luis del Carmen Curiel was a Mexican military man who participated in the Mexican Revolution. He was born in Guadalajara, in 1846. He studied law and military, and reached the rank of brigadier general in 1892. He was governor of Jalisco for several periods until January 1903, and governor of Yucatan from March 11 to June 6 1911.

He was senator of the Republic in the XXVI Legislature. He retired from the Mexican Army in 1912 temporarily, and definitively on July 2, 1913. He died in 1930. Bibliography
