The Cape of the Bear (Italian capo d'Orso) is a famous rock located on the north-east coast of the Italian island of Sardinia. It owes its name to its strange shape, reminiscent of a bear, and its position exposed above the sea. It is approximately five kilometers east of the town of Palau, and is considered one of the landmarks of the region of Gallura, being part of an impressive landscape of cliffs. From the top of the cliff you can see the archipelago of La Maddalena and the neighboring French island of Corsica. Gallery Source
