Bob van Hellenberg Hubar

Bernard Godefridus Richard Maria (Bob) of Hellenberg Hubar (The Hague, September 12, 1950 - Amsterdam, March 11, 2008) was a Dutch lawyer and film producer. He was sometimes referred to as Bob Hubar.

Bob van Hellenberg Hubar began his career as a lawyer. In that capacity he performed the interests of artists like Candy Dulfer and Paul de Leeuw. His acquaintance with Paul de Leeuw caused a major turnaround in his career. He produced De Leeuw's movie Filmpje! and then went on to film production. Titles that were co-created by him include, among others, the fool and wild romance (about Herman Brood). Together with André de Raaff, he founded the production company CTM Entertainment. This company was also busy with music. One of the artists who accompanied Hubar was Jim.

Hellenberg Hubar died unexpectedly after being taken into a Amsterdam hospital with a tear in his aorta.
