Jean Bondol, also called Jean de Bruges (fl.1368 - 1381), was a Flemish painter and miniaturist, in the Gothic era. He was born in Flanders, which at that time was part of the domain of the Dukes of Burgundy. He entered the service of King Charles V in Paris, being one of the first great French-Flemish artists at the service of French royalty.

It is attributed, among other works, the miniature of the dedication of a Bible (1371, Meerman-Westreenen museum of The Hague) and the cartoons of the tapestry of the Apocalypse (around 1375).

In the tradition of artists such as Jean Pucelle, Bondol added flamenco realism and his conception of space, a stylistic synthesis that contributed to the emergence of the international Gothic style around the year 1400.
