Jiangnan Sizhu (Chinese pin 丝竹; pinyin Jiāngnán sīzhú) is a style of traditional music practiced in the Jiangnan region of China.

Sizhu literally means "silk and bamboo", meaning stringed instruments, originally made of silk, and bamboo flutes.

The instruments usually played for this style of music are: dizi and xiao flutes, sheng (mouth organ), erhu, sanxian, qinqin, yangqin and percussion instruments. Bibliography edit code edit code
