Gender is a philosophical concept employed in logic and metaphysics. It is a concept that brings together a multiplicity of individuals in a conceptual unit. In turn these concepts can be grouped into lower level conceptual units. Traditionally the lower level is usually called species and the higher levels genera, being Being the logical genre supreme that brings together the whole.
