Moses Sithole (Boksburg, September 17, 1964) is a South African serial killer found guilty of committing the ABC killings in 1997. As far as known, he killed 38 people, mainly women.
Sithole was twenty at the time when he raped all three women who did not dare to take him. When one of them reported and testified against him, Sithole ended up in prison. Presumably, he became the man who appeared to be the ABC killings: committed in Atteridgeville, Boksburg and Cleveland. ABC murders
Sithole was released in 1994 and was filled with hatred against women, because of the great injustice that one of his rape victims sent him to the police. In 1995, he had already over thirty deaths on his conscience. Sithole acted as a businessman and approached women by offering them work. Once they got into the car, he always claimed that they had to walk the last piece to his office. Once they were out of sight and hearing distance, he proceeded to rape and murder. Sithole was caught in 1995 when someone recognized him as the man who previously belonged to one of the victims. After his arrest, he knew 38 murders. In December 1995 he was guilty of it, plus forty rapes. Sithole was sentenced to 2410 years imprisonment, without the possibility of early release before he spent 930 years there. He is stuck in C-Max, the heaviest secured department of the Pretoria Central Prison.
