Ramón Joaquín Manuel Cesáreo Santamarina (Ourense, February 25, 1827 - Buenos Aires, Argentina, August 23, 1904) was an owner of Argentine haciendas of Spanish origin. Orphaned, he arrived in Argentina at the age of sixteen and settled in Tandil, in the province of Buenos Aires.
He worked as an agricultural laborer, and bought with his money oxen and carts. The commerce of the latter was at the origin of his fortune. He acquired many lands in Argentina and founded a company that still exists: Santamarina and Son. Notes and edit the code
