Ron Hauge is an American television screenwriter. Earlier in his career, Hauge was an editor at the National Lampoon. After this, he began working as a screenwriter on Seinfeld, In Living Color, The Ren & Stimpy Show, and a new version, which was canceled quickly, from The Carol Burnett Show. He has written 12 episodes of The Ren & Stimpy Show, in addition to personally animated the Stimpy cartoon in the episode Stimpy's Cartoon Show. Hauge joined the cast of The Simpsons in the eighth season of the series and won an Emmy for writing the then controversial episode of the eighth season Homer's Phobia, which was his first episode.
