The region of the Massif Central is one of the 11 districts of the island of Tenerife - Canary Islands, Spain.
It covers the central sector of the island. Its limits are, except in the extreme northwest where it is limited by the TF-2228 road, those of the Natural Areas of the Teide National Park, the Forest Crown Natural Park, the Protected Landscape of Las Lagunetas and part of the Natural Reserve Chinyero Special. The Massif Central includes, therefore, the high parts of almost all the municipalities of the island.
It has a total area of 66,777 hectares.
