Helkir is a type of anti-hysteroptic mine made of metal materials that works through two different types of electronic detectors. This mine has an acoustic sensor and an infrared sensor; once the mine is activated, the acoustic sensor receives the signal of some considerable sound, then this device turns on the infrared detector located coaxially with the warhead, which, upon recording a significant heat signal, explodes the mine , ejecting the fragments of the directional explosive charge towards the target, which can penetrate 6 mm of reinforced steel at 50 m distance and 2 mm of regular steel at 150 m.
