Mangyül Gungthang


Mangyül Gungthang was a kingdom in southwestern Tibet (Ngari) founded around 1265.

The kingdom fell under the jurisdiction of the Sakya Order. The rulers of this small kingdom, which formed from 1268 to 1287 one of the thirteen Tibetan tens of thousands, were the kings of Gungthang. They ruled under the rule of alternating Central Tibetan Groors of this empire, from 1265 to 1620.
