Academy of Military History, private law corporation, dedicated to studying the military history of Chile.
In 1977 the idea of forming an Academy of Military History was born, which was approved by a supreme decree in 1979. It is composed of civilian and military academics.
Its mission is to investigate and study the subjects corresponding to Chile's military history, to promote and disseminate historical research.
The academy has a specialized library and newspaper library, which consists of books and documents.
