Szabolcs Brickner


Szabolcs Brickner (Budapest, June 12, 1980) is a Hungarian tenor. After his education in vocals and clarinet at the Franz Liszt music academy in Budapest, Brickner studied at the Hochschule für Musik in Augsburg. He also studied with Nicolai Gedda. He regularly performs at the Budapest Opera.

In 2004 he participated in the Ferrucio Tagliavini competition where he won the second prize. In 2008, he was a laureate and first prize winner of the Queen Elizabeth 2008 contest (for singing) in Brussels.
