Chad Valdes


Born in Antwerp, Belgium and with Panamanian nationality. Grandson of famous singers: Miguelito "Babalu" Valdes (from father) and Ernesto "Negrito" Chapuseaux and Sylvia de Grasse (from mother)

Sports Field: Chad Valdes was the National Tennis Champion of Panama (Category A-Professional) from (1989-2008) until he retires from international professional activity. He was also the Children's / Junior Tennis Champion of Panama (1985-1989). Chad returns at the end of 2008 to professional tennis to participate again in the circuit partially, and again retakes the # 1 racket leadership in Panama for the Davis Cup. Member of the Davis Cup Tennis Team of Panama as racket # 1 (1997-2004) and (2008) Won 3 tournaments in the International Professional Circuit (Trinidad and Tobago, Valdosta, and Atlanta)

Musical Area: Chad forms Dialect (The group) in 2001, electronic pop rock band with 5 productions / CDs to date. Winners of the Panamarock Awards 2005 and 2007 as the best Pop Rock band of the year in Panama and Best International Screening. The band makes successful tours of Honduras, Mexico, Colombia and the United States, filling concerts in every city where they perform.
