The Metropolitan Transport Consortium of the Almería Area is a public entity set up in 2007 to create and manage transport infrastructures and services in the metropolitan area of Almería (Spain).
The consortium is composed of the Junta de Andalucía, the Almería Provincial Council and the municipalities of Almería, Adra, Berja, Enix, Félix, Dalías, Roquetas de Mar, Vícar, El Ejido, La Mojonera, Benahadux, Gádor, Huércal of Almería, Pechina, Rioja, Santa Fe de Mondújar, Viator and Níjar.
The main objective of the consortium is the establishment of an integrated tariff system and a single ticket. The card can also be used in the other metropolitan transport consortiums of Andalusia.
The consortium card can also be used in the other metropolitan transport consortiums of Andalusia, corresponding to the area of Malaga, Sevilla area, Campo de Gibraltar, Bahía de Cádiz, Jaén area, Granada area, Cordoba area and Costa de Huelva.
