Country Wine


Vin de pays is a French wine name designation. Originally created by decree from September 13, 1968 to September 4, 1979, but abolished by Decree 2000-848 on September 1, 2000. The aim was to classify the large amount of wine produced yet to be classified by an appellation d'origine contrôlée. After 2000, the protected geographical indication is known as IGP.
