Hermitage of Santa Ana (Utrilla)

For other uses of this term, see Ermita de Santa Ana (disambiguation).

The Ermita de Santa Ana is a religious building located on the outskirts of the town of Utrilla (Soria).

The hermitage of Santa Ana, since time immemorial is a center of pilgrimage and popular devotion, has an altarpiece of the holder dated in the 17th century, made of pine. There are six canvases and some polychrome sizes. A chapel attached to each side of the hermitage gives it a bird's eye view of the characteristic cross shape of the churches and hermitages, currently the one on the east side (of San Francisco), has collapsed the roof, and the one on the west side gives shelter to the steps of Holy Week. In its East side it has a small sacristy.
