Luque grew up in Manresa. He played in the youth teams of Espanyol and Fundación Ferran Martorell. From 2005 to 2009 the midfielder was active at Villarreal CF youth and reserve teams. In 2009, Luque was contracted by FC Barcelona for the second team, Barça Atlètic. After one season he left for Primera División club UD Almería. Statistics National team
Luque plays in Spanish youth selections. He was included in the pre-selection for the European Championship under-19 in 2009, but the midfielder did not finally reach the final tournament selection.
