Napoleón Rodríguez Ruiz


Napoleón Rodríguez Ruiz (1910-1987) was a Salvadoran lawyer and writer. At the University of El Salvador he served as Dean of the Faculties of Economics and Sciences and Humanities; and as rector of the institution between the years 1959 to 1963. At the governmental level was Judge of the Supreme Court of Justice. He was also a member of the Salvadoran Language Academy (ASL). He is the author of the novel Jaraguá (1950), and also of History of the Legal Institutions Salvadoran (1951), Janiche and other short stories (1960), Discourses University (1962) and The Opening of the Triangle (1968).
