Theodor Reuss


For other uses of this term, see Reuss (disambiguation). Theodor Reuss Theodor Reuss (June 18, 1855 - October 28, 1923) was an Anglo-German esotericist especially interested in Tantrism.

Throughout his life he worked in such dissimilar works as a singer, spy and journalist. Politically, he was a Utopian socialist activist in favor of female liberation. Collaborates with Carl Kellner in the creation of the O.T.O. and succeeded it as head of the same to the death of Kellner. Reuss meets with Aleister Crowley and in 1910 makes it degree VII ° of the O.T.O. and in 1912 grade IX.
