The darrenlacht is a phenomenon that occurs annually in honey bees when the mating period is over. It happens when no fresh pollen is available. For a while, no darrenbroed has been used before the darrenlaughter.
A dar does not get any honey but is fed by work beans. First, the darren are no longer fed. As a result, the drowsiness weakens after which they are driven to the outside of the cabinet, and then driven to the cabinet. Eventually, the drones are dragged out by the workmen.
