Lupia

Lupus is called a tumor, a true pouch that appears anywhere in the body of animals and is most often called a cyst.

The most common in animals, especially in the horse, is the lupus of the elbow, also called tumor of the elbow and codillera. It comes from the continuous pressure of the horseshoe calluses: when it is cast the animal supports in these parts the tip of the elbow, originating the lupia whose volume varies from the one of a walnut to that of an egg of pava and even more.
