Maarten J. W. M. Ellis (Willemstad (Curaçao), August 15, 1941 - Wassenaar, May 11, 2015) was a Dutch lawyer and was from the 12th of September 2007 until October 10th 2010 State Council of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Antilles and held a seat in the Council of State on Kingdom Affairs . From 10 October 2010 to 7 December 2011, he fulfilled this function on behalf of Curaçao.
Ellis studied law in Leiden and was active as a scientific assistant, (business) lawyer, lawyer and professor. He was a professor (including tax law) from Erasmus University Rotterdam, from 1994 to 2004.
