Zhengao (simplified Chinese: 真 诰, traditional Chinese: 真 誥; pinyin: zhēngào) is a Taoist text from Shangqing School, written by Tao Hongjing (陶弘景) on seven scrolls in Mao Shan (茅山, province of Jiangsu), dating back to around 500, during the Southern Dynasties (420-589).

The term "Zhengao" means (Chinese: 真人 口授 之 诰; pinyin: zhēnrén kǒushòu zhī gao) "Teaching the mouth of an accomplished person".
