Catacombes de Camden

The Camden Catacombs are a system of underground passageways in Camden Town located below a portion of the Camden Markets and dating back to the 19th century. They have been held since 2012 by Network Rail. They are not real catacombs (corpse deposits), but an underground area originally used as stables for horses and ponies of the working pit on the railways. The catacombs also include an underground pool for canal boats operating on the nearby Regent's Canal. These undergrounds are not open to visitors because of the risk of flooding. change the code
