Dana International in a performance
Ding Dong is the title of a pop song written and performed by Israeli singer Dana International. The song won the Kdam Eurovision (Israeli national pre-selection) on March 8, 2011 and represented Israel at the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 which took place in Germany, being eliminated in the first semi-final on May 10 by the jury and televoting.
The song was released as a single by the singer days after its interpretation in the national final.
This was the second time that Dana International performed at the Kdam, after their defeat in the 1995 edition. It is also their second time in Eurovision after winning in 1998 with the song Diva.
