Metzo Djatah


Metzo Djatah is today one of the major artists of Casamance (Senegal). Originally from the village of Diembéring, specifically the district Houdiabousse, it is undoubtedly the person who made Diembering one of the most famous villages of Casamance. Through his song of the same name which is a real hit in Africa, he knew how to put in melodies all the beauty of this region of Senegal. He also made a video clip about these landscapes that was very successful. Today he is engaged in the fight for childhood and education, topics on which he has composed two successful titles. Nominated at the 2011 RFi Prize with his album Roots Acoustikeur a masterpiece of composition he is in 2013 the producer and creator of the most popular TV series in Senegal "Dinama Nekh" number 1 in francophone West Africa with more than 60 million views on the net. This series will be the first Senegalese series translated into French by the French channel plus channel.
