The district of Missirah is one of the districts of Senegal. It is located in the Tambacounda department and the Tambacounda region.

It has three rural communities:

Missirah is a city Diakhanke an ethnic group of the Great Mandingo Family. Misssirah is also home to the largest Diakhankese community in the world. It is located 33 km from Tambacounda on the National Road towards Kedougou. The big families in this city are Gassama, Kaba, Sylla, Kante. the diakhankese community stands out because it does not rely on the state but rather on their own front.
