National School of Anthropology and History

The National School of Anthropology and History (Spanish: Escuela Nacional de Antropología e Historia, ENAH) is a university in Mexico City. The ENAH is part of the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH).

The ENAH was founded in 1938 as part of the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN) and has been a separate university since 1946. The ENAH was initially housed in the National Palace and later in Chapultepec, but is currently located in Cuicuilco, where the oldest pyramid of the American conin was found.

As the name suggests, ENAH focuses on anthropology and history. The ENAH offers studies in physical anthropology, social anthropology, ethnology, linguistics, ethnology and history. The ENAH is strongly linked to the social and intellectual movements of recent decades, mainly in the development of indigenousism.
