In 1866 in Poitou, born Blaise, grandson of Baron Joachim de Chablun. In 1870 Charles, father of Blaise, went to war. When he returns, the Prussians seek him, and Joachim sends Blaise to the Maupilier farm. Charles died by accident in 1874. His wife, Anne, went back to his father's house leaving Blaise with Joachim. In 1875, born Louis, brother of Blaise who joins Anne. Anne remarries and Joachim takes over Blaise. The Maupilier die in 1878 and Joachim collects their son Dominique. He puts Dominique and Blaise in religious school. Once out, Blaise falls in love with a Claire until 1887. In 1890, Dominique accidentally kills Joachim on the hunt. Blaise married Claire in 1893 and she died in 1899. In 1904, Louis François. In 1914, Blaise is mobilized. In 1929, François comes and Blaise convinces him to take over the manor. Blaise will die on Claire's grave in 1830.
