The Girardi family is a patrician family who arrived in Venice in the 10th century and come from Fano (Italy). They were added to the nobility in 1381 for the good services rendered in the Chioggia war by Lorenzo and Francesco Girardi.

Girardi's arms consist of gules with a silver face and three roses laid in silver pal on the mouths and gules on the silver.
