Radio Minuto was a Spanish private radio station created in 1978, formed by 19 Frequency Modulated stations, absorbed by the PRISA Group in 1983 and converted into M80 Radio when merged with the Radio 80 Gold Series in January 1993. Programming

Directed to a sector of audience of 30 to 45 years, Radio Minuto's programming extended from 8 to 22 hours, based on a musical offer of great hits of the 70s and 80s in the history of pop music and a selection of discographic novelties based on their musical quality. Short news spaces were also broadcast at the scheduled times, and local news and useful information sections at half an hour, as well as broadcast urgent news at the time of occurrence. This station became one of the most listened to stations in Barcelona, ​​surpassing other channels, such as "Los 40 Principales", with more than 500,000 listeners. With its 24H programming. and, the use of the radio formula, further increased its success. Disco music programs such as "Minuto Mix", starring Toni Peret, contributed to placing it among the most popular. Some of the speakers who went through its microphones were: Oscar Barberán, Esther Pardo, Toni Clapés, David Montes, Pedro Blázquez, among others.

The most remembered program of the chain was El minutero, directed and presented by Pedro Bernal and Ricky Romero. However, Radio Minuto also retained part of the old programming of Radio El País: Flight 605 by Ángel Álvarez, from Monday to Friday between 10 pm and 11 pm, making an extensive review of the best music of the decades of the sixties and seventy; the El País news summary today, which was broadcasted at midnight; the humorous wake-up program What I tell you, directed by Máximo Pradera; Private music, a night space on new trends in pop music.

As of January 1, 1990, Radio Minuto de Barcelona was renamed Radio Tiempo. In Barcelona, ​​the first Radio Minuto station that began broadcasting with that name in Spain on May 1, 1982. Radio Minuto de Barcelona 94.9 FM. Barcelona sold the name but not the dial, Radio Tiempo in 1991/92 became Cadena Top Radio (Cadena Ibérica).

Currently the 94.9 FM dial of Barcelona is from Europa FM.
