On September 3, 2013, the President of the Republic of Chile Sebastián Piñera, together with the Ministers Cristián Larroulet and Bruno Baranda, signed the Bill that creates the National Service of Citizen Services "ChileAtiende", a public network of multiservice that allows you to perform various procedures, access information and obtain benefits in one place.
Its creation was directed by the Modernization Unit of the Ministry General Secretariat of the Presidency, headed by Rafael Ariztía, using existing resources available in IPS
