Medallions of Valjunquera


The medallions of Valjunquera are sweet prepared with fried wheat flour (frying fruit) very prepared in Valjunquera (municipality of the province of Teruel). It is made with a lard of lard, flour and boiling milk along with salt and chopped hard-boiled egg. It is cut into squares or round areas and finally the dough is fried in boiling olive oil. They are usually served freshly made and are very popular in the wedding banquets or on certain festive occasions in the province of Teruel.
