The 3rd edition of the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race takes place on January 29, 2017. It is part of the 2017 UCI World Tour calendar in 1.UWT category and constitutes its second event, one week after the end of the Tour Down Under . This is the first time it is part of the world calendar, it was previously part of the UCI Oceania Tour, and was category 1.1 in 2015 and category 1.HC in 2016.
