Pedro Rodriguez of Santisteban and Dávalos was the 1st Marquis of Cropani and the first member of the House of Rodriguez of Santisteban of this fief.
The King of Spain Philip IV granted the title of Marquis of Cropani by Royal Decree of July 22, 1622.
The title was founded on the basis of Cropani, Neapolitan territory that belonged to the Crown of Sicily, in Spanish possession.
Pedro married with Luisa Maria de Cepeda and Sotomayor, marriage of which was born his heir, a man named Luis. Bibliography
