In Greek mythology, Peas, Poes or Poias (in ancient Greek Ποίας / Poías), son of Taumachos, is King of Thessaly and father of Philoctetes.
He takes part in the expedition of the Argonauts: it is he who kills Talos in Crete.
Friend of Heracles, he is wounded by the birds of Stymphalus Lake. Later, he sets fire to the hero's stake at his request, and receives his bow as a reward. He then bequeaths the bow to Philoctetes; without this object, the Trojan War could not be won by the Achaeans. Noteschange the code
