"Viva la Gloria!" is the fourth song of the band's eighth album Green Day for the 21st Century Breakdown album. In this song the characters are already named, try to leave a doubt about whether there really is a glory beyond life. It also speaks of a time when Gloria, tells Christian not to renounce his ideals and to fight for his dreams, since that is the glory. The song begins with a piano solo.
The song also talks about Gloria being pregnant with Christian, she is scared because she loves Christian too much, she is afraid that he will leave her when she finds out. Gloria flees from the city so Christian will not discover it. Meanwhile Christian falls into depression because Gloria left. Also, Christian is worried because he knows Gloria is pregnant.
