Côtes de Castillon


Côtes de Castillon is a red wine with designation of origin from the Bordeaux wine region. The Decree of 17 February 1998 regulates the controlled denominations of origin "Costières de Nîmes" and "Côtes de Castillon". The production area of ​​the wines of this denomination is delimited by the territory of the communes of Belvès-de-Castillon, Castillon-la-Bataille and Saint-Magne-de-Castillon, having been extended to Gardegan-et-Tourtirac, Monbadon, Saint-Genès-de-Castillon, Saint-Philippe-d'Aiguille, Sainte-Colombe and Les Salles.

It must be elaborated with the authorized varieties: cabernet franc (N), cabernet sauvignon (N), cot or malbec (N) and merlot (N).
