Dennō Coil (Dennō Koiru), or Coil, A Children's Circle, is an anime series belonging to the Science Fiction category, which deals with the inclusion in real life of RA (RA) ) semi-immersive, in the near future. The series takes place in the fictional city of Daikoku, which has an advanced development of integration between the real and the virtual. In it, a group of children use RA glasses to discover the mysteries that surround the established cyberspace in the city. To do this, they use illegal methods, computer viruses and virtual pets, in order to manipulate both the data and the space itself.
Dennō Coil is the debut series by the director and animator Mitsuo Iso, who worked on it for over 10 years. The animation is run by the Madhouse studio. It was released on May 12, 2007 on the NHK Educational television network. Thanks to the animation staff of the series, in addition to the long development process, Dennō Coil was a much anticipated and awaited series by the public.
