Jennifer 8. Lee

Jennifer 8. Lee (New York, March 15, 1976) is a New York Times reporter for the metropolitan section. Write his middle name as "8." (with the digit and the dot below, although in his driver's license, it is written as "Eight" in English).

Many Chinese and Japanese names contain numbers written in characters. Lee's parents, who are from Taiwan, added Lee's name to number eight (the Chinese character cuando) when she was a teenager (presumably with her consent). Many Chinese believe that the number eight symbolizes prosperity and good luck. Notes
